Dr. Rosner is a Board Certified Rheumatologist and Bone Densitometrist with expertise in diagnosing and treating osteoporosis.
Bone density screening is a diagnostic tool used for detecting osteoporosis. Osteoporosis affects the density and quality of your bones. As bones become weaker and less dense, they are more likely to break or fracture. Osteoporosis is a major public health threat for 55% of people 50 years of age and older. In the US today, 10 million individuals are estimated to have the disease and almost 34 million more are believed at increased risk.
